Warangal: The third edition of the Credai Warangal Property Show wrapped up on Sunday, drawing large crowds from the tri-city area at its venue in Hanamkonda. The event, which attracted developers, investors, and prospective homebuyers, showcased the burgeoning real estate market in the region.
The property show was officially inaugurated by Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, who praised the Credai team for organising such a large-scale event. Speaking at the event, the minister emphasized that the tri-cities—Warangal, Hanamkonda, and Kazipet—are emerging as significant centers of development, second only to Hyderabad.
Minister Prabhakar also highlighted that the state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, has recently launched developmental projects worth a massive Rs6,000 crore in the region. He noted that the property show offers an excellent opportunity for local residents to explore and invest in real estate within their own cities, eliminating the need to look elsewhere.
The minister further discussed Warangal's growing strategic importance, with plans for an upgraded Kazipet railway station improving connectivity between North and South India. He also revealed plans for a new airport, which will enhance the city’s accessibility.
On the healthcare front, Prabhakar mentioned the region’s strength, with institutions like Kakatiya Medical College, two new medical colleges, and MGM Hospital and Health City. Education is also a key pillar, with prestigious institutions such as Kakatiya University and the National Institute of Technology (NIT) contributing to the region’s development. He also pointed to the area's temple tourism potential, citing landmarks like the Sammakka-Saralamma temple, Ramappa Temple, and the Thousand Pillar Temple.
Minister Prabhakar assured that he would bring Credai's initiatives to the attention of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and vowed to support the district's growth.
